King Penuel Mlotshwa (34) founder of Mamsie Mlotshwa Foundation from Johannesburg started the back-to-school shoe campaign to help Soshanguve children who will be returning to school tomorrow 15 February 2021.
King Penuel and his team went to Good Shepherd Organisation (NPO) in Soshanguve on 13 February 2021 to donate school shoes to kids who come to the center for Monday to Friday feeding scheme program. His aim is to help kids who don’t have school shoes and socks.
“We get help from friends and other people who see our posters on social media,” he said.
Mokhadi Ramonyai (Khadi the voice) Manager of Good Shepherd Organisations, said she is grateful that the kids will be going to school on Monday, and she hopes they grow and be able to feed kids even on weekends.
“Some of the kids don’t have parents, some are raised by their grandparents and they can’t afford, so Mamsie Mlotshwa Foundation was a great help,” she said.
