Young Ms Lerato Phakoe (17) born and bred in Hammanskraal currently residing in Soshanguve, got her first book called The Kindness Paid With Pain published on 1st of January 2021.
Ms Phakoe said that her book is about betrayal, forgiveness, and most importantly how to overcome the hardships in one’s life.
“Having considered that I am a person who loves motivating and challenging other people to do good in life from a tender age. I find writing a useful tool to communicate with people,” she said.
After she discovered at a very young age (12) that she is a good storyteller, she started writing short stories about her life experiences.
“Well I see myself as an award-winning author, bestseller, and author of ten books at the age of twenty,” she said.
