The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development held an informative event on 20 October 2021 at Falala Community Hall in Soshanguve.
Mr Tshilidzi Ramathikhithi, who is the legal administrator officer at the department of justice said the event was aimed at helping the community with legal matters and giving them the right referral.
“The event was also to create awareness in the community about the services provided by the Department of Justice and highlight the plight of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide.
The department partnered with the National Prosecution Authority, Legal Aid South Africa and South African Social Security Agency to host the event.
