Soshanguve Plaza distributed wheelchairs to five patients who have been nominated by the members of the community locals.
In their statement, Soshanguve Plaza management said the mall work hard to improve local communities because the community is the reason the mall exists.
“We are really grateful to the Soshanguve community for consistently choosing us, and we also wish to congratulate the nominees. Mandela Day is a day to practice generosity and humanity by sharing what you have with those who lack it.
“We were acting in a way that embodies love, humanity, and giving what we have to those who deserve it,” the statement read.
A Community member, Ms Lerato Leremi, said Soshanguve Plaza is undoubtedly a blessing to the community and thanked the management for their generosity and love.
“Congratulations to those who received the gifts and may God be with them and their families. We will continue to support Soshanguve Plaza. I hope they can continue to expand,” she said.
