The KT Motubaste clinic at Soshanguve Ext 4 turned back patients this morning due to the ongoing water cuts in the City of Tshwane.

The clinic manager, Mr Issac Moremi, said all services had to stop because the clinic could not cater to both staff and patients’ hygiene due to a lack of water.

“I have requested a water tank from Tshwane and they have promised to deliver,” said Mr Moremi.

Ms Nompumelelo Maseko, a resident, and patient in the area said they are disappointed that the clinic could not prepare on time to have water.

“We came early in the morning because we know that many people rely on this clinic and now we have to go back home. We understand that it is not the clinic’s fault that there is no water but it is disappointing,” said Ms Maseko.
