Bringing an early smile for Impoverished kids

The JL Morapama Foundation in partnership with Mmachipa Home of the Mental and Physically Impaired will, on 08 December 2018, host impoverished children in Hebron, Pretoria. The event aims to assist needy and impoverished kids enjoy Festive Holidays.

According to the seasoned Actor and Philanthropist, Mr. John Morapama, Founder of JL Morapama Foundation says anyone is welcomed to donate.

“Time to change someone’s life is when you donate what you have from the bottom of your heart. Items like Non-perishable food, soaps; diapers, clothes, wheelchairs,  school backs, school shoes sanitary towels , winter blankets and any clinchers and etc are welcomed”, said John Morapama.

According to Louisa Segoathle of Mmachipa Home encourages companies to choose her home when they want to show their generosity this year. “We will honour caregivers and the children by bringing an early smile to them. Most kids have nowhere to go but to remain at this home through the festive season,” added Segoathle.

Activities of the Day will include cooking and feeding of the children, presentation of donations; and entertainment for the kids (Jumping Castle). We would also like individuals to bring  their Company Products and Branding Materials like Gazebos and Pull-up banners.

Mmachipa Home has recently welcomed a victim of gang rape who has given birth to the a child. Moreover, toys for toddlers will be essential for the social and entertainment activities of the kids.

The event will be held on 08 December 2018 from 08:00 until 3pm at Mmachipa Home: 817 Masailane Section, Hebron, Pretoria.
