#YesIam 2019 SPAR Women’s Challenge now open for entry

The Spar Women s Challenge Open is now open for entry for races consists of a 5km and 10km walk or run route which begins and ends at SuperSport Park stadium in Centurion.

The race will take place on Saturday 3 August 2019 at 14:00 and people wishing to participate will be expected to pay an an entry fee of R120 per person for all licensed 10km entrants,R160 for all licensed 10km entrants and R120 for 5km walk/fun run entrants.

Entries can be made at any participating SPAR store or online. Entry forms are available at participating SPAR, pay your entry then get your race pack consisting of t-shirt (one-size-fit most), a race number foam peak and a copy of My Race magazine.

Entries can also be made online and if entering online it is advisable to bring proof of payment to collect race number, foam-peak-cap, t-shirt and My Race magazine at SuperSport Park Centurion from 29 July – 2 August 2019 between 10h00 and 18h00 or on race day from 08h00 to 12h00. An admin fee will be applicable for online entries.

Men are also allowed to participate in the race but will not be eligible for any prizes. They will however receive a goodie bag.

Pre-entries at SPAR stores and online entries will close on 19 July 2019 at 18h00. Entries for the race will be limited to 25 000 participants and the race will be expected to end approximately at 18h00 on Saturday 3 August 2019. Results of the 10km race will be published on the race results page.

The SPAR Women’s race was started in 1992 to bring women of all ages together in an exciting 5km-10km road race. Earnings from the race will be donated to charities. The race is annual and this year’s theme is #YesIam which is about embracing everything that you are.
