“Tsebe Boy” and “Tebza Ngwana” better known as Mr Thapelo Mathlangu and Mr Tebogo Bashomane respectively from Mamelodi have released a single featuring Ms Lebo Motlhamme from Mmakau, titled “You bring out the best in me”.

The Mamelodi guys met in January 2019 and have been together since. They met through Ms. Motlhamme at a studio where a friend was recording and they have been together ever since.

“We have known Lebo since the beginning of our music career, we sang with her until she went to further her studies at the University of Johannesburg,” said Mr Boshomane.

Although Ms Motlhamme has a career as a financial auditor, her love for music remains as she is good at composing and bringing up great musical ideas. Their first collaboration was in a song titled “siphiri sarena” which sounds more like Amapiano.

“Amapiano songs all sound alike so we figured we could get something different by going through our archives to find something that will be different yet good and acceptable to the society.

“The newly dropped song is not really new as it was composed a while back and it carries a different sound compared to the famous songs of today,” he said.

“This song with Lebo is an old song but unfortunately we never got to release it, we agreed to release it now after seeing that we need to try something new. For now, we will wait and the public receives this new ‘sound wave’,” added Mr Bashomane.
