Ms Tshiamo Mogale (23), is a young lady from Soshanguve who has a passion for plumbing that she developed since her childhood.

She currently offers plumbing services to the elderly in the community of Soshanguve and said she noticed while she was still young that she has a passion for plumbing.

“Growing up I have always liked playing with bricks and spanners and steadily developed a liking for plumbing.

Miss Mogale said she survived with her parent’s pension which was not enough to take her to further her studies after completing matric.

“I was introduced to hand entrepreneurship by Kudzi Mutungwa who is a facilitator.”

She wants to teach the youth of Soshanguve to be independent no matter what situation they are facing.

“In this period opportunities are not always present, so the youth must create their own opportunities through entrepreneurship.

“In the next coming years I see myself owning a construction company which will consist mostly of women,” she said.

“It is high time women get recognition in jobs traditionally known to be done by men, “ she added
