The 23-year-old Ms Kadija Makhanya, originally from Umlazi in KZN, is a Model who has recently been crowned as Miss Mamelodi Sundowns.
Miss Mamelodi Sundowns is one of the biggest National pageants and she is also proud to have represented KZN at the Miss Mamelodi Sundowns national pageant.
Ms Makhanya said that she feels grateful for the opportunity of representing Mamelodi Sundowns and is looking forward to growing with the brand, and growing the support base of female supporters for Mamelodi Sundowns.
Speaking about the pageant, she said all the contestants were unique, amazing and inspiring young ladies.
Ms Mamelodi Sundowns aims to increase female supporters for Sundowns
“The coordinators really did a great job in recruiting girls who came from different walks of life with different career paths,” she said.
Miss Sundowns encouraged people to save their energy for the reopen of soccer.
“Our days are not the same without football and we are unable to interact at stadiums as we are used to. Let’s keep our energy and spirits high as football will be resuming soon. Let’s continue to be united and in support of our Mamelodi Sundowns teams,” she said.
