An entrepreneur from Soshanguve, Mr Mpumelelo Blessing Mahlangu (27) will be launching his own Laptop at the end of May.
Mr. Mahlangu said he loves gadgets and the COVID 19 inspired him to create this laptop to also demonstrate that it is time for South Africans to showcase talent in innovation.
Mr. Mahlangu is an orphan raised by his grandparents. “I completed Matric at Hlanganani High school in Block G and went to Tshwane North to study Information Technology. I then proceeded to study Public Relations at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and could not finish due to financial problems.
He stayed at home for three years without a job until he found a job at a telecommunications company where he became the Quality assurance officer, moved to the marketing division, and ended up being the head of Marketing for the Group company.
Mr. Mahlangu said he wants to see himself being the next black Steve Jobs, having one of the greatest African companies that produce and sell locally and internationally.
