Seven concerned residents in Soshanguve established their own organization called Tlhokomelo Foundation in March 2021, while they were working together at Rethomile Junior Secondary.
Tlhokomelo Foundation Spokesperson, Goitsimodimo Ramajela said all the members in their organization saw a need to be a helping hand to the underprivileged, which makes it hard to point one as a founder.
“The motive behind this organization is to see kids prosper and be great in everything they do, to impart knowledge and wisdom, not forgetting to motivate them to become better versions of themselves,” he said.
Mr. Ramajela said the children inspired this organization because we saw that there are kids that come from disadvantaged homes and it is a challenge for them to come to school, we took that opportunity to help them.
“We hope to see success into the children’s lives, we also hope that the kids we will help will be the future generation that will bring change to the communities,” he said
