Mr Lesetja Letwala-Legodi "Efkay Lele Legodi"

Mr Lesetja Letwala-Legodi (23) was nominated for the Founder of the Year Awards (FOYA) Africa 2021 under 30, under the category of Hospitality Founder of the Year, and made it as one of the top 3 Finalists across Africa and number 1 in South Africa.

He is well known as “Efkay Lele Legodi”, is a young man from Soshanguve who is the founder and CEO of Efkay Lele Projects that runs a multi projects business offering traveling packages and cleaning services.

He plans to grow and offer more services that he will render nationwide. His desire to become a better person is what inspired him to start his own business. He said he has always been passionate about being an entrepreneur and traveling.

“Having to get an international recognition I can say has been one of the biggest achievements so far and we truly appreciate the love and support we get from the people,” he said.

Having to start without any capital and making sacrifices from his own pockets from time to time until he found a way to manage his finances and pricing for his services was his challenge during his early days in the business.

“I had to invest in the growth of the business and make sure I don’t experience any losses or find myself on the verge of shutting it down.

“Searching for your target market is a challenge on its own and it will always be there in the business. Having to encounter sponsor rejections has been one of the bad experiences in the journey.  I almost gave up on my dream but with the support of my family and friends I managed to pull through and remembered why I started doing this”.

Mr Legodi wants to inspire young people to give back to the community, and his team members started a give back to the community drive called “Make December Great Again” where they will be donating groceries, clothes, blankets, and other necessary items to those in need around Pretoria every year in December.
