Ms Elina (Hani) Ramapulanana (85) from Block L has been missing since Tuesday 20 July 2021 evening.
Her granddaughter, Ms Thandi Mthimunye, said, it is now three days since she left without the family being aware that she went out on that night.
When she was last seen in the community she was wearing a red overall on R80 Road and her family thinks she probably thought she was going to the shops.
Mis Mthimunye said the family is used to their grandmother going out and mostly if they notice her, someone in the family would normally accompany her. “No one saw her leave on that day.
“We ask for help from anyone who might have seen anything, she is old and vulnerable and as a family, we fear that something might have happened to her,” she said.
Soshanguve SAPS Communication Officer, Constable Sebone, said the investigation is underway and the police are following leads.
