The Rietgat Police Station is temporarily closed for decontamination after one of the staff members tested positive for Covid-19.
Captain Masondo, from the South African Police Service (SAPS), said the police station will service the communities from Phuthanong Satellite Station in Block HH during the decontamination period.
“The premises will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be resume operations again. If people are in need of the management, they can reach the station commander at 082 856 1143, detective commander at 067 192 2365, acting commander at 083 535 6059, shift commander at 071 675 6250, duty officer at 082 778 9427, and the communication officer at 079 694 6514.
