The Tshwane Music Festival announced its highly anticipated lineup for the 2024 edition, set to take place on November 2nd. The festival will be headlined by two of South Africa’s most acclaimed musicians, DJ Zinhle and Makhadzi.
The event, organised by Ultimate Experience, an events company, will transform Grizzlies Rugby Field in Pretoria West into a musical haven. In addition to the star-studded headliners, the festival will also feature performances by viral hitmakers TitoM and Yuppe, as well as other local talents such as Joezaza, Tito and Yuppy, Tman Express, Kue K, XDuppy, and Sjavas da DEEJAY.
“Apart from doing something in the community, we also involved a few local artists from Tshwane and surrounding areas to showcase their talents on our stage,” said Morne Pretorius, the concert director. “It has been proven that music takes away your stress and anxiety, and what better way than to share this with a few other music lovers in the form of a concert with talented musicians on stage.”
The one-day festival will open its gates at 10 AM, offering attendees a full day of entertainment. In addition to the music performances, the event will feature a variety of food stalls, bars, and a VIP tent, creating a holistic experience for attendees.
Gavin Prins, the other concert director, emphasized the event’s focus on more than just music. “We invite local businesses who want to showcase their products and services to come to the festival and show the community what they have on offer. This is as much about driving entrepreneurship in Pretoria as it is about showcasing the talented musicians we have in the community.”
