Akasia Licensing Center closed due to a Covid-19 case

Tshwane Akasia Licensing center reported covid-19 case which has led to the temporary suspension of operations and motor vehicle registration from Tuesday, 15 December 2020.

Tshwane spokesperson, Mr Selby Bokaba, said the affected licensing center will be disinfected during closure and suspension of the operation period to fight the risk of Covid-19 infection.

The Watloo Licensing Centre, Centurion Licensing Centre and Bronkhorstspruit Licensing Centre will remain open to assist residents with registrations and licensing of motor vehicles.

“All employees housed at the Akasia motor vehicle registration center have been advised to remain at home and take the necessary precautions,” he said.

“The licensing center will reopen for operations as soon as the disinfection process has been completed,” said Mr Bokaba.
